4 or 5 days
You leave from Eourres and arrive in Barret sur Méouge, via Branche Pass.
In Ubac you’ll stay in a yurt or bivouac with your own tent; Katleen will welcome you and prepare your meals.
The next day, with Kim:
Visit to a paleontological dig site where a range of different items will be presented by geological strata
Presentation of the different tools used to unearth fossils
Invitation to dig out Cretaceous amniotes on the level where Ubac is located.
Another night in Ubac
The next day, you’ll head out for an easy stroll along the “Méouge” River, arriving at Sylvie’s place in St Pierre Avez.
Sylvie will show you around her farm, which has cows, hens, chicks and more. You can sleep in her caravan or your own tent, and enjoy a home-made, home-grown meal with her in her yurt, while she shares what she has learned in her fascinating life.
Option of staying another night at Sylvie’s to enjoy her farm and the river.
Then you’ll go up through Travers Forest to reach Branche and head back down to Eourres.
